Creating a Coaching Culture.

This course is aimed at Senior Leaders wishing to develop coaching as a principle that underpins school culture. Developing a three year plan to implement change that becomes embedded and an integral essential part of how a school runs.

Coaching is a culture.

It is a way to improve and develop performance across the board but must be planned strategically as a vehicle to develop staff at all levels and of course include our students.

Cultural change takes time, planning,strategy, development and support. In order to create an organisation where a question is truly seen as an opportunity for exploration, rather than a potential threat, as leaders we must fully commit time and resources to ensure cultural change rather than;

“just another initiative”.

Outcomes of the course include:

  • An understanding of what is a true coaching culture and how do we achieve it

  • Practical advice for coaching for staff meetings

  • Methods for 121 in-class coaching

  • Processes for formalised line management coaching

  • Methods of coaching as a means to develop the non-judgmental lesson observation
